Love,The Workplace and Blackmail!!

Imperfect is standalone Romantic Thriller by Holly Carr..The story revolves around business owner Alex Whittaker and his personal assistant Sam Faulkner,as they fight their feelings for each other,each having their own scars from love.

I loved both of the main characters of Alex and Sam,as well as Alex’s daughter Stacey.All the characters were well rounded and believable ,and really felt for Alex and Stacey,and really enjoyed seeing both characters grow in confidence throughout the story.

I wasn’t expecting the the reveal towards the end,and I thought it was a brilliant twist to plot.I thought the book was so well written,and I loved the fact that in end as in all great books good vs evil and good always wins.

I don’t have one bad thing to say about this book,it is so well written.I recommend this book to anyone who loves reading romantic fiction.I can’t wait to read more books written by this author.

Fate,Love and Magazines!! Love by Design by Effie Kammenou Love by Design is book 2 in the Meraki Series.Although this book is in a series it can be read as a standalone novel. The book focuses on Mia Andarakis ,who has recently been promoted to work on a new magazine called Opul,and her relationship with magazine editor Nicholas Aristedis. My favourite characters were Mia and Nicholas,the characters were very well rounded and I really felt both characters as they had both gone through trauma in their lives. I loved the twist in the middle of the book which connected the lives of Mia and Nicholas,as well as the flashback chapters concerning what had made them the people they had become. I think the scenes written around Nicholas’s grief were well written,and grief can totally destroy you and I really felt for Nicholas. This Much Huxley Knows by Gail Aldwin - Review Huxley vs his parents,who knows best!! This book is a standalone novel written by Gail Aldwin.The story is told through the eyes of 7 year old Huxley.When Huxley means Leonard at the hairdresser,Huxley just sees him as a lonely man,but his parents have other ideas. My favourite character was Huxley,I loved his childhood innocence and how he views the world.All the characters are very well rounded and the reactions of the adults are sadly only too believable in this day and age. The Stranded -By Sarah Daniels Rebellion,Corruption and the Coalies!! The Stranded by Sarah Daniels is a standalone futuristic novel set in 2094.The story set aboard the Arcadia ship,where passengers have been stranded for years due to fears of a deadly virus. My favourite character are Esther and May Crossland,they are both strong female’s who stand up for what they believe in. All the characters felt real and you have real empathy for the passengers on the ship. My favourite scene is when Esther decides to help the rebellion and finally everyone realises she is more like her sister May then they realised. The book had me gripped from the beginning and I was rooting for the rebellion to succeed .
